Hunk - English Bulldog
This is Hunk. He is 5. Hunk has been with us for about a month (as of December 2025). His favorite things are people, car rides, food and sleeping- not in any particular order. He is a very easy and quiet boy. Hunk is a great dog. He unfortunately needs some surgery to improve his breathing and eyesight and to remove the skin fold above his nose.
Scooter- Moyen Poodle
Scooter was a puppy mill dad. He loved the couch, and he loved being together. Scooter was adopted by a nice family and is very happy to have an older doggie brother. Scooter is very sorry for the mournful howling while Annie was working, he was just very sad to be alone.
Morty- Westie x ?
Morty was an unclaimed stray. He was an absolute joy. He loved to cuddle and would find his was onto your lap one way or another. He was very friendly with everyone he met. Morty was adopted by a nice couple that have taught him Spanish. He was top of his class in obedience school. Morty is a very gifted boy!
Ziggy- Cockapoo
Ziggy was a puppy mill mom. We're guessing she was about 4 years old. She came into the rescue in pretty rough shape. This poor girl suffered from seizures and was pretty shut down mentally. She was beautiful though, that's for sure. She found a loving home with a single lady who is able to give her the care and stability she needs.
Kermit- Pomeranian x
Kermit was our first foster dog. He was the smartest dog I've ever met. I was able to teach him to jump through hoops (I was pretty proud of myself). Kermit didn't get as many nice pictures taken of him because he rarely stopped moving. Kermit came from northern Manitoba as a stray. He settled into life here pretty quickly. He was adopted to a nice couple and is living his best life with his cat siblings.
All dogs are fostered through pound dog rescue. www.pounddog.ca
